Veljko Valjarević was born in 1991 in Užice, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac, under the mentorship of Željko Đurović, MA, and Jelena Šalinić Terzić, PhD. He completed his Master's studies at the same faculty, under the guidance of Željko Đurović, MA, and Jelena Šalinić Terzić as co-mentor. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. Since 2015, he has been living in Belgrade, where he held his first solo exhibition in 2017 at the House of King Peter. He has participated in over thirty group exhibitions and fifteen solo exhibitions. His work is featured in several books and essays on drawing. His artworks are included in numerous private and state collections, and he is one of the youngest painters represented in the permanent collection of the Modern Gallery Valjevo. He received the award for Best Young Painter at the First Biennale of Fantasy in Belgrade in 2021.
