Denis Haračić

Denis Haračić is a Bosnian visual artist born in 1991 in Travnik. In 2018, he completed his Master's studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Department of Graphics, under the mentorship of Professor Amela Hadžimejlić. Through his psychological portraits, he explores universal themes, addressing contemporary society through the lenses of group and individual identity. The artist works with mediums such as drawing, painting, printmaking, as well as digital imagery, animation, and sound installations. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions, biennials, and triennials of fine art in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and abroad. Haračić's works are part of several international collections, most notably the Museum of Now in Berlin, which holds 72 of his pieces. He has received several awards and recognitions, the most significant being the Collegium Artisticum Award for Graphics, presented by the Association of Fine Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2021. He is employed at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo.
