Snežana Petrović is the recipient of the "Momo Kapor" award for fine arts in 2023. She was born in 1977 in Novi Sad. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 2004, specializing in Printmaking, where she also earned her Master's degree in 2008. She completed her PhD in 2015 at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. She works at the Academy of Arts at the University of Novi Sad as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Printmaking. To date, she has participated in over 220 group exhibitions and held 21 solo exhibitions in Serbia and abroad (France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, England, Spain, Portugal, Russia, USA, Canada, India, Malaysia, China, Japan). She has received around ten awards and recognitions, including prizes at the 6th Tokyo International Mini Print Triennial in Japan in 2018 and the 10th International Biennial of Printmaking "Premio Acqui 2011" in Italy. Her works are held in numerous private collections as well as in national galleries and museums worldwide.
